They do it, people tend to say they are more stout motors. But the valve size hold them back some. Single hammer slammers are out there boosted and even supercharged making nice number. I say go for it. I like the E over the DE myself because its a dying breed. Ka-T.org |

I know a guy with a turbo manifold and other pieces for the turbo SOHC. I can give you his email if you want. I am pretty sure the stuff is for sale cause I did an SR swap in his car. |

nothing at all wrong with the single slammer. on KA-T some of the soch member have higher average numbers... the sohc has been noted to make even more Tq than the dohc motors. |

you mean, cam? HAHA. If your planning on turbo charging your car, I wouldnt buy anything not related to the turbo swap. Why buy a header and then be forced to get rid of it when you turbo your car? Same with an intake. I know for sure that he has the turbo manifold that you will need and those are hard to find. |

yeah your gonna need to be focused on.. turbo manifold turbo bov injectors intercooler piping controller somekinda engine management would be nice bungs, fittings, hoses etc. couplers and shitt. aem uego is good to have i think on turbo applications. theres more shit but like dont get suckered into buying a kit is kinda my point. Just piece your own kit together. |

yeaa you guys are right, i didnt think about all that stuff, as far as buying the intake and headers and then having to get rid of em. i should just focus on getting the pieces for the turbo and what not together instead of shelling out dough for that later on. where could i found a place to get custom piping? i figured i could go to a meineke or something like that but i dont know how well thatd work out. |
