Okay here goes another one by me....

Reasons:
-Better weight distribution.
-Cleaner engine bay
-If running turbo, more room to run intercooler piping w/o getting small battery.

Items Needed:
-25 foot of 2 guage wire, You can purchase it at home depot or lowes, It ran me 20.57 for it. Its stiff but its nice cause it forms to the shape that you bent it in.
-Battery box(I got mine at walmart for 6.99)
-New terminals, well i used new ones.
-Electrical tape

Tools Needed:
-big ass cutters
-little cutters
-strippers(if your not a real man, so in that case, i needed these.)

Step One
-Okay, first off take out your battery..

Step Two
-Remove the stock ground location, the intake manifold.

Step Three
-First you cut the terminal in half, just keep the clampy part of it for the positive side.

Step Four
-This ones optional, now you can cut out your battery tray, i threw flat black on there so it didnt rust before i painted the whole bay..

Step Five
-Run your new positive wire to the rear of the car, I chose inside the hatch. So i went through the fender well, then inside the cabin, then back to the hatch. Now you have to find a good ground, I used the strut towers because they bolt to the strut, which goes to the subframe, which goes to the diff, then to the driveshaft, then through the trans and so on...

Step Six
-Wiring for the front of the car. Let me know if you need help understanding this.

Step Seven
-Screw your box into place, then throw the battery and terminals on, and start it up...I moved my box since this picture was taken..

Any questions please ask me. Better pictures will be taken tommorow i kinda just used pictures i had already from my build.

no its not? haha. and No, I cut it so that your just using the back piece of it. Like you feed the wire through the center, then bolt the other two things to the top of it. or you can be ghettoer and just tape everything together. lol

howd you get the tray outta there Nick?? i know it says you cut it out-but with what?? I moved my shyt to the back and actually like it better now. Less wheel hop and shit when whippin it around corners(stock suspension and bushings....sad, i know) but the battery box i got was kinda big but it holds my Duralast "Red Top" perfectly and has a little divider thing i can put in there(diff slots for adjus.)and i got my jumper cables in there with my Police Beater mag-lite. Sweet ass shit for only $13 from the zone. Sick write-up nick.....actually used this thread when i did mine.

Go to lowes and spend 5 bucks and get some buttcrimps. Taping that shit together could bite you in the ass later down the road.
