ive been searching for this for a couple weeks now but havent had much luck. From my understanding there isnt a whole shit load of fabrication that needs to be done in order to make it fit. ive read that there are kits that enable you to use your own engine (and possibly tranny) crossmember, but seen any reviews about them. this is just a quick write up for me just incase my compression test readings come back not lookin all that great. if so i was planning to take this route. basically what im asking is if anybody knows of any online rb20det into an s13 swap guides. ive checked nico, zilvia, rb20det.org, thats all i can think of off the top of my head. if you guys know of any decent guides please let me know. thanks in advance |

you can get the R32 crossmember and it will bolt right up to the S13 chassis or you can buy the pre-fabbed mounts. The stock manual driveshaft can be used. What else you need to know? Nick will delete any links I post here so your out of luck in that sense. |

i guess if there was anything i had failed to mention from the original post. but yeah i heard that the crossmembers would bolt right up, and i heard about the driveshaft as well. lol you dont needa post links or anything. idk if i mentioned it in my op but from what ive read, the engines gunna sit a lil high, so i'd need an aftermarket hood, i think i read about the silvia hood being a good fit..i could be wrong. umm, the engine bay needs to be fabbed to fit the air condenser, if i plan on using it, not sure about that yet...also i heard the shifters gunna sit about an inch forward then where it sits now. does that only apply to certain tranny crossmembers or is that just somethin im gunna have to deal with regardless of which one i use? its really not a big deal to me, an inch doesnt seem all that noticeable you know? oh and does anybody know of any shops that would be able to prep the engine bay for the drop?.....i think thats about it for now...ill come back if anything |
