So I helpedy friend re build his sr cuz it spun a bearing while I test drove it. So we just finished re building it, dropped it in and hooked everything up. He starts it and you just hear the crank turning, with no help. The initial timing is right, I believe. I had the intake cams at 10 and exhaust at 12 with the indicators on the timing chain, cams and crank correct. The only thing I'm not sure about is the cas/rotor. I didn't know how to set that at tdc. And I'm so used
to ka's I just know how the dizzy and rotor go. So I heard that the biggest hole on the cas is where the black square is supposed to be covering when you put it back on the exaust cam. I can't upload any pics right now. But if you can't understand what I'm saying then I'll get to uploading. But yeah, if you guys can tell me or show me how the crank angle sensor,( I've heard people call it the camshaft positioning sensor, so I'm not too sure the correct term for it.) is supposed to go at tdc that would be tight. Thanks guys
