I am looking into getting a short throw for the car and was wondering what ones everyone on here is using. I am looking at either the B&M or Megan racing one. Let me know you opinions thanks. |

C's short throw would be a nice option, but good luck finding one. I also read a good write-up on rebuilding the stock shifter. It seemed pretty solid and had good reviews...whatever that's worth. |

I have had an ebay, isis, and now a fidanza.. I haven't gotten my fidanza in yet but my ebay and isis felt fine.. Just swap that bushing thing on the bottom for a metal one or an oe... I like the way they feel compared to stock but i'm so used to short throws... |

short throws are teh gheys. had one in my Z and i regretted buying it. i wont have one in my 40. do what kevin said and just rebuild the stock shifter. all new bushings will make a hell of a difference without having to go to super lame wrist shift status. .02 |

I am not sure if it is the same with say...Hondas or not. But usually they are offered in aluminum or steel when looking at Honda short shifters. Make sure you go with the steel IMO. Too many horror stories of people banging gears and the shifter breaking. Depending on where it breaks is the deciding factor of if you can make it home that night, or need a tow. |

you speak the truths on honda sifters. remember we took my boys da out for food ls/vtec on a spray. grabbed first slammed second and it broke right above the ball. lmao. so it was handed to the passenger who was also laughing so hard that tears was coming from thier eyes as well. as for 240 shifters. i still run a megan vrs 1 shifter. its aight. had a bit of an issue w/ it rattling loose and was like fuck this lock tighted the bolts and haven't had any issues since. Kevin came over a few weeks ago was like damn this feels good and offered to trade me his nismo and i had to turn em down. lol |
