ive got somebody to weld my kit, but he has a mig welder. ive heard that tig welding penetrates better and everything, but would mig be okay or should i wait until i find somebody who can tig weld it for me? |

tig is the way to go, but mig is sufficent enough penetration, only issue, the steel generally used in :good" manifolds, is stainless, and mig welding... well stainless isnt the best to weld with. |

you could mig it. just make sure you use ss wire and you run gas. thats all you need really. |

Just don't use a SS flange. You can use SS runners and a mild flange, if you're tigging it use 309 rod. Otherwise, making the whole thing out of mild is not an issue It's not only the quality that is better, it also looks a lot better lol. It depends how much you care I guess.. |

for right now im not too concerned with how it looks, i just want it to function properly, and well at that..i mean granted i dont want pieces of the weld all over the damn thing, but as long as its not super ugly looking and shitty quality |
