Okay this happened twice..everytime someone else has driven my car..randomly it happens once to them. itll shut off then not start back up, if you leave it sitting for a minute itll start up.. anyone? |

Sounds like it's possibly time to change the distributor cap and rotor |

yeah? i was thinking something ignition wise. Plug wires appear to be factory..Gonna do a tune up on her when the weathers a little better.. and damn your back on here now? haha |

hmm could be a leaky injector which is fouling out the plugs. But certainly cap, rotor, plugs and wires and dial in the timing. Maybe seafoam it before you do the new plugs. |

HOLY SHIT, the same exact thing happened to me today. I happened to my friend twice and I havent had it shut off on me with a month of driving it. But I think my battery terminal might of fell off |

When you say it wont start will it crank or will it be like theres a dead battery? |

Unless this is just the notorious wont crank issue (sometimes relay, sometimes switch). The diagnosis is it wont crank, but if you hold your key at start after if few seconds it cranks. It's becoming more common. But yeah is it cranking or just not doing much? |

Yeah if you have no power your having the same issue as me. My friend was driving my car and he pushed in the clutch and it just died then he tryed restarting it but it had no power like the battery was dead so I checked it out today and hooked up some jumper cables, started it then took them right off expecting it to die (thought it was that alt) but it didnt then I drove it around and it felt normal. All my fuses in the engine bay are good and the battery is at 12.4 volts |

Yeah probably just needs some good TLC Tune up PCV FF Seafoam job Clean and torque grounds and cables Clean all other connections |
