It's my honest option that Nistune / Calum RT boards are useless unless you want to tune your own car. Why else would you want RTP capability? That's an extra $200+ your spending. Also, SAFC and Emanage should not even be an option in this day in age when the stock ECU is so capable, and standalone ECU prices are so reasonable.
FYI, I charge $250 for a street tune on an SR/KA, that inculdes install of a $50 daughterboard (not inluded). I love these figures some people throw out. All thats required is a solid car, stock ECU, purchase a $50 daugherboard and two $5 chips, hook up your consult port, and have no codes.
As far as the "tuner battle", it wasn't really a tuner battle. My buddy wanted me to squeeze some extra power out of his car at the same PSI, so I did. When I told the owner of Adrenaline I wanted to put the numbers of my tune vs the previous tune on the same dyno, he got cocky and decided to announce it as a competition, Matt was blindsided by this and it was not my intention. It was the result of a loud mouth hyping up a side by side comparison. the loud mouthing has nothing to do with the bottle of sak'e I gave em at 10 ish in the am.
BTW any plans on coming up to visit?
