Brake light shit

The only lights that work on my car are the head lights, and the blinkers but other then that the brake lights dont work, neither do and of my running lights. The brake light fuse was blown and as soon as I put another one in it blew, so I was wondering where I should look first and is this common?
And also one of my brake lights stopped working like a week ago because the ground on the light was shitty so I cleaned it off and that fixed it. Do you think there could be a connection?

not trying to be an ass here, but I would say trace the wires from the tails forward. while checking for any breaks or frail wires.

Sounds like a ground,
I had the same problem with my rear lights
traced it down,
then doubled the fuse size.

yes and i agree with skott there is another way thats a little easier if you know how to read a wiring diagram. get a multimeter and check for continuity on all the wires in that circuit your will find where it is at least so your not tearing apart your whole car for a possible loose ground.

You could check you 75a fuse as well. I had the same problem the silver 240 and had blown that fuse. That fuse is in your engine bay.
