thanks =] I'm having a hard time tuning it, maybe you guys can help. earlier tonight it cranked and ran for a few before running super rich and falling on its face. this is my set up: srT28, 370cc injectors, SR fpr, stock maf, aem uego wideband o2, apexi neo. my safc settings I believe are incorrect, would anybody have a quick write up of how they'd input all this so I can compare it to mine? |

When it comes to tunes, I stand by tunes done by people with great reputations. For it's been my experience that even motors with the same parts, machine work and so on don't always have tunes that are completely the same. There's always some anomaly that sets them apart. |

I'm tuning with the Neo for now I looked into emance but you don't know how its gunna run till u pop in the ecu, and if its not set up right you're screwed until they hopefully fix it and send it back. so Neo for now. |

Just saying KA SR RB stand alones are a dime a dozen, and you can get a real tune on a dyno and with a quality wideband. |

if u know where I can find a obd2 stand alone with my exact set up, please share. my biggest thing is time right now. by no means am I trying to rush and cut corners but I started this the week of the hurricane, spent waaaay more than I had initially thought I would, and now its come to dizzy timing which I believe to be the reason as to why its not turning over again after the first or second crank with 0% fuel cut across the boards. retarded it by 3 degrees that first time too, now I think every time I adjust the dizzy and mess with the safc to -27 across I'm just flooding the engine with fuel, again making the mixture pig rich |

Using enthalpy as an example, they actually sell a conversion harness that goes between the motor harness and the ecu, then they use an S13 ECU in place of the S14 ECU. But I'm with Blake on this Matt is beast and can help you knock beers back later on in the night. Providing his girl and new addition to his family allows him to come out and play afterwords. Don't forget Scott "hottscennessey" on here as well, he's another sick little monkey when it comes to tune's and has put some stout numbers down with tunes he has done, really want to see what he ends up doing with his silvia. (yeah I see you on and I'm calling you our Scott.)

i don't know how deep your pockets go but aem ems is direct bolt in and comes pre loaded with a base map for a stock car and all you have to do is adjust from there or at least that's what they say...see for your self: http://www.aemelectronics.com/series-2-ems-for-240sx-1996-1998-583 |
