Hey fam, Swapped my Turbo Elbow the other day, my old one was ben't forward from an accident I had a while ago, I finally put a new one on so my exhaust would sit right, It came along real easy until one of the bolts seized on the stud and pulled the actual stud out of the turbine, its a spa 6300 gts, I was wondering if turbo studs are universal? I have a garret gt28 with studs, I plan on pulling it at school, If not, do you think a very high grade bolt can withstand the temperatures? |

I think you should be ok with a good high grade bolt but I'm not 100% experienced with high temp fasteners. I know my JGS kit came with some nice bolts for attaching the down pipe so you should be ok. If the nut is frozen in place, try putting the stud in a vise, heating the nut with a torch until it glows cherry then remove the nut |
